Faithful to the style, this one is made of ripe, hyperlocal quince from the Bijeljina and near cities and towns.
The resulting pale, sun-yellow/orange hue of the Dunja Barrique and its delicate notes of quince, honey, and blackcurrant come from the traditional "Quercus petraea” oak barrels used for aging (also harvested from the local forests).
Your introduction starts with floral aromas, giving way to a hint of spice and citrus on the front palate, followed by round, forward notes of quince and deep baking fruit at the finish.
